I’m honoured and humbled to be published in '100 Voices', a collection of memoir, poetry and fiction from 400 women writers across the world.
I contributed my story ‘3000 Days’, about my first big move, from Ireland to Manchester. Other stories include making lemon curd to completing a marathon, finding ‘me time’ as a mum to learning Bengali, a refugee eating English food for the first time to riding a motorbike.
These are unheard stories of real-life women’s accomplishments, and the book is a tribute to women everywhere – celebrating their remarkable resilience, creativity and above all, ambition.
